Janet Diederichs

Widely recognized for her work in issues management, corporate positioning and marketing communications, Janet serves as facilitator of communication between clients and their key audiences:  employees, customers, shareholders, communities and media.

With a long record of success, the JDC team has served clients in myriad industries, from consumer products to business-to-business services. Programs are built to serve clear client goals, operated on strict budgets and executed to enhance reputation and marketing strength.

Janet serves as Director, North America, for the International Public Relations Exchange (IPREX), a worldwide corporation of independently owned public relations firms.

A leader in the business community, Janet is a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago, life trustee of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, and former chairman of the Founders' Council of the Field Museum.

Her board memberships include the Albert Pick Jr. Fund and the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Foundation Heart Institute. She is a member of the International Women's Forum and was a founding member of the Committee of 200, an international organization of leading women entrepreneurs.

She maintains a significant presence in Chicago's civic and cultural community. Janet was recently named one of “Chicago’s 100 Most Influential Women,” “Fortunate Chicago CEOs” and “500 People You Should Know in Chicago” by Crain’s Chicago Business.

Janet is a graduate of Wellesley College and currently serves on its Business Leadership Council.
